Laser Program

Objective: to develop and perfect the permanent hair removal technique that leaves the skin smooth and silky hair free. A vocational competency is to use the revolutionary long-pulse high-energy alexandrite laser emits a gentle beam of light that passes through the skin to the hair follicle where it is absorbed. The laser energy is transformed into heat, which destroys the hair follicle leaving the surrounding skin unaffected.

The students will work on perfecting each area's treatment and learning the indication and contraindication and consent and other legal forms. The objective will be to develop a perfect hair removal technique.
